Jack Peters, CEO

Jack has three decades of customer satisfaction experience in web analytics, CRM, data mining, and data warehousing. Prior to cofounding OptiMine in early 2008, Jack spent 17 years at Teradata, both as an early employee and then after the merger with AT&T/NCR. He held various Regional Vice President positions in the Southwest, Northwest, Midwest, Northeast, and the OEM channel during Teradata’s growth as Inc. Magazine's fastest growing company from 1986 to 1991. At NCR, as Vice President of Large Systems Product Marketing, he was instrumental in the transition of Teradata to NCR. He then was Vice President of U.S. Financial Industry Computer Sales and Marketing. After leaving NCR, Jack held successful field operations executive positions at Sagent Technologies, Confluent Software, and KXEN.

Robert Cooley, CTO

Robert Cooley has deep expertise and broad application experience with data mining and optimization technologies. He is known for his groundbreaking work in Web Mining and has over fifteen years of experience managing projects and analyzing data in a variety of fields, with a focus on e-commerce, CRM, and unstructured text. Prior to OptiMine Software Robert was the VP of Technical Operations for KXEN, a data mining software company, and before that he was the Director of Data Mining for Outride Inc., a Xerox PARC spin-off specializing in personalized search technologies that was sold to Google in 2001. In addition to a PhD in computer science from the University of Minnesota, he holds degrees in civil and nuclear engineering.

Doug Bryan, VP of Engineering

Doug Bryan has several decades of experience in software engineering and data mining. Prior to OptiMine Software he was a technical director for KXEN specializing in customer lifecycle management applications of predictive analytics. Earlier, Doug managed a development team in the Data Mining and Personalization Group at Amazon.com that was responsible for product similarity and recommendations data for all of Amazon's products and customers. Previous roles also include text mining at SPSS, senior manager at Accenture’s Center for Strategic Technology Research, and lecturer in computer science at Stanford University. He has published three textbooks and dozens of papers.
